Hotel Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Worker to join our team. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and organization of motel rooms and laundry/linen services within a hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in housekeeping and laundry operations and cleaning, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality service. Prior hotel experience and familiarity with cleaning processes are considered advantageous. Duties

• Work closely with front desk and management
• Clean rooms to department of health standards
• Operate laundry machines, including washers, dryers, and specialty equipment for dry cleaning as needed
• Sort, fold, and organize linens, towels, and clothing items according to established standards
• Ensure all laundry is cleaned, pressed, and stored properly for timely distribution
• Maintain cleanliness of motel rooms and laundry areas, including washing stations and storage spaces
• Follow safety protocols related to handling chemicals and operating machinery
• Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and detergents
• Perform routine quality checks to ensure linens meet hygiene and appearance standards
• Support additional housekeeping tasks as required to maintain overall facility cleanliness

Experience

• Previous experience in laundry operations and housekeeping is preferred
• Knowledge of laundry equipment operation and maintenance is advantageous
• Hotel or hospitality industry experience is desirable but not mandatory
• Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow safety procedures diligently

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 per week
