Bartender/Server (part-time)

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our members. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for serving beverages, food, and selling legal gambling tickets, cash-out gambling winning tickets, providing excellent service, and ensuring that our bar area remains clean and organized. Your role is crucial in enhancing the members' experience and contributing to the overall success of our establishment. We are a private / members only fraternal club, operating under the statutes of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the State of Ohio Liquor and Gambling Laws. As such, no employee can have a felony record. All bartenders must also be able to be bonded, which the Aerie pays for the Surety Bond Policy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
• Engage with customers, taking orders for drinks, food, and gaming ticket sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, serving utensils, cooking appliances, and cleaning surfaces.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management.
• You are the kitchen staff / cook ensuring timely service of food orders.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol and food service guidelines.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
• Assist the Aerie and Auxiliary Secretaries with taking in Membership Applications and
