Doc-Side Veterinary Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland is hiring a veterinarian experienced in soft tissue surgery and dentistry to join our compassionate and collaborative team. This is an ideal opportunity for a small animal veterinarian who enjoys performing general surgeries and dental procedures and is interested in leadership growth within a well-established, Fear Free certified practice.
Located in the heart of historic Fells Point , our 4-doctor small animal and exotics practice has proudly served the Baltimore community since 1999. Doc-Side features 5 exam rooms, a dedicated surgery suite, and advanced diagnostic and dental equipment to support a heavy surgical caseload. We care for dogs, cats, and exotic pets and emphasize high-quality, client-centered medicine in a calm and supportive environment.
What You'll Do as a Veterinarian:
Perform a wide range of general soft tissue surgeries : spays/neuters, mass removals, foreign body surgeries, etc.
Provide dental care and oral surgery , supported by intraoral radiology, experienced staff, and plenty of hands-on training
Deliver gold-standard preventive care and medical treatment in a Fear Free environment.
Collaborate with a skilled team of veterinarians with special interests in internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, and preventive care.
Mentor and grow with the support of experienced doctors and leadership development opportunities .

Veterinarian Requirements:
DVM or VMD degree from an AVMA accredited veterinary school
Licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice veterinary medicine in Maryland
2+ years of experience in small animal medicine and surgery preferred
Strong surgical and dental skills
Passion for teamwork, mentorship, and delivering excellent patient care

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and relevant credentials with an annual base salary range of $110,000 - $160,000, prorated based on part-time hours.
