Duties
- Assist with demolition, framing, drywall installation, painting, flooring, and finishing work to bring renovation visions to life
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete various construction tasks
- Ability to lift up to 75 lb. Work outdoors in hot or cold weather, ability to sit, stand, bend and work on your knees. Posess a positive attitude & willingness to learn.
- Install fixtures such as cabinets, doors, windows, trim, and hardware with precision and attention to detail
- Perform rough & finish carpentry, finishing work such as drywall, trim & paint. Roofing, siding & gutters, tile and flooring work as needed on-site
- Conduct basic construction to ensure quality standards are met throughout each phase of the project
- Follow safety rules and building codes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly storing tools and disposing of debris responsibly
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines while adhering to safety protocols
Requirements
- Prior experience in construction or home improvement projects is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and basic construction techniques
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with construction management principles and estimating processes is a plus
- Experience with plumbing, electrical work, fixture installation, or restoration projects is highly desirable
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward safety procedures and quality workmanship
- Valid driver's license may be required for site access or equipment operation
