Server/Waiter

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and contributing to a positive atmosphere. Your passion for food and hospitality will shine as you interact with guests, take orders, and serve delicious meals.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing excellent guest services throughout their dining experience.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS system or similar technology.
• Provide detailed menu descriptions, including daily specials, to assist guests in making informed choices.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of food safety and handling practices.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.
• Prepare tables for dining by setting up utensils, glassware, and condiments as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area throughout service, including clearing tables and resetting them for new guests.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food preparation and handling.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is a plus.
• Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A commitment to providing excellent customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Must possess a valid food handling certification or be willing to obtain one prior to employment.
