Duties

• Safely operate a range of trucks such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks across designated routes.
• Load and unload freight with precision using forklifts or manual handling techniques when necessary.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
• Manage route driving efficiently by planning optimal delivery schedules and adhering to delivery deadlines.
• Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit, especially when handling freight on flatbeds or refrigerated units.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to confirm delivery details and resolve any issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, inspection reports, and incident documentation in compliance with company policies.

Experience

• Proven truck driving experience with a focus on commercial driving environments.
• Hands-on experience operating manual transmission trucks is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with driving specialized vehicles such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is preferred.
• Delivery driver experience involving load & unload procedures enhances your candidacy.
• Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment is a plus.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to trucking operations and freight transportation.
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the types of vehicles operated (e.g., tanker endorsement). Pay: $0.70 - $0.75 per mile
