Position Summary

The State Engagement Director
leads grassroots operations in Omaha, Nebraska, managing a team of Grassroots Engagement Directors. This role combines strategic planning, team leadership, and community outreach to advance free-market principles and individual liberty. Ideal candidates bring field experience, strong leadership skills, and a passion for empowering communities through civic action.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, lead, and support Grassroots Engagement Directors across Nebraska
  • Design and execute strategies for voter registration, GOTV, and civic education
  • Monitor and report on local policy and governmental developments
  • Coordinate statewide grassroots campaigns aligned with CFFE's mission
  • Mentor field staff to meet performance goals and grow leadership capacity
  • Analyze outreach data and ensure timely, accurate reporting
  • Build relationships with community leaders and civic organizations
  • Ensure compliance with all laws governing grassroots activities
  • Collaborate with national leadership to improve engagement strategies

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in grassroots organizing, advocacy campaigns, or field operations
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
  • Availability on evenings/weekends and to travel across Nebraska
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Passion for free-market principles, individual liberty, and civic engagement
  • Experience with voter registration tools and canvassing software (e.g., i360, GroundGame, Reach)
  • Familiarity with Nebraska's governmental and policy landscape, especially Omaha and nearby regions

Compensation & Benefits

  • $65,000-$75,000 annual DOE
  • Opportunities for advancement as the organization grows
