Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead our HR initiatives and support organizational growth. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of human resources functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and performance management. This role requires a proactive leader capable of aligning HR strategies with business objectives while fostering a positive workplace culture. The Human Resources Manager will play a critical role in shaping company policies, managing HRIS systems, and ensuring legal compliance across all HR activities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals, including talent acquisition, succession planning, and workforce development.
- Oversee employee onboarding, orientation programs, and ongoing training & development initiatives to enhance employee engagement and performance.
- Manage employee relations by addressing workplace conflicts, conducting investigations, and facilitating effective communication between staff and leadership.
- Administer benefits programs, payroll processing, workers' compensation claims, and compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Ensure adherence to employment & labor law, FMLA regulations, and other legal requirements related to human capital management.
- Lead performance management processes including employee evaluations, goal setting, and recognition programs.
- Supervise HR sourcing efforts using ATS platforms such as Taleo or iCIMS; utilize HRIS systems like Workday or SAP SuccessFactors for data collection and reporting.
- Conduct organizational design initiatives to optimize workforce structure; manage change management projects to support business transitions.
- Oversee contracts negotiations related to employment agreements; ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning, budgeting for HR initiatives, and process improvement efforts to enhance operational efficiency.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, workers' compensation procedures, and benefits administration.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms such as ADP, Paychex, UltiPro, Kronos, Oracle HCM Cloud, Dayforce, Paylocity, SAP SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft or Ceridian.
- Strong negotiation skills combined with experience in talent acquisition and sourcing strategies using ATS tools like Taleo or Lever.
- Demonstrated expertise in performance management systems and employee evaluation techniques.
- Excellent communication skills for effective presentation of HR policies and training programs; adept at conflict management and employee relations.
- Proven ability in strategic planning, organizational design, process improvement, and program management at senior leadership levels.
- Experience with data analysis skills for HR metrics reporting; proficient in data collection tools for workforce analytics.
- Management experience supervising HR teams; skilled in change management initiatives to foster organizational growth.
