Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop & Deploy: Assist in the end-to-end development of AI/ML solutions, from data collection and model training to deployment and monitoring.

  • Integrate Systems: Build and maintain robust integrations between our AI models and key business systems, including Oracle EBS R12, backend applications, and microservices.

  • Collaborate: Work closely with data scientists, business analysts, and manufacturing experts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Optimize Processes: Identify opportunities to apply AI to improve manufacturing efficiency, predictive maintenance, quality control, and supply chain logistics.

  • Problem-Solve: Troubleshoot and refine AI applications to ensure they are performing optimally and delivering measurable value.

  • Stay Current: Research and experiment with new AI/ML technologies and techniques to keep our solutions on the cutting edge.

  • Document technical designs, development processes, and operational procedures for AI/ML solutions.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong communication skills; able to communicate with IT and business individuals and teams at all levels, including describing complex problems in a non-technical manner

  • Requirements gathering experience and the ability to quickly translate business ideas into functional requirements or user stories

  • Strong ability to feature negotiate with business stakeholders

  • Knowledge of and experience with user story refining activities

  • Able to manage multiple priorities; self-directed and customer service focused

Minimum Requirements:
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).

Experience: 1-3 years of hands-on experience in software development or data science. Recent graduates with significant internship or project experience in AI/ML are strongly encouraged to apply.

Systems:

Programming Skills: Strong proficiency in Python and experience with common data science/ML libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch).

  • Single-page web applications such as AngularJS, Angular, or React

  • Web CMS frameworks such as Wordpress

  • Web service development with .NET or Python

  • Database systems such as MySQL, ElasticSearch, or SQL Server

  • Applicable experience developing and delivering solutions on SaaS, IaaS, or PaaS systems

Database Knowledge: Solid understanding of SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server).
Foundational Knowledge: A good grasp of core machine learning concepts (e.g., regression, classification, clustering) and software development principles.

Physical Requirements: Office position requiring telephone and computer use. Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally / sparingly (office supplies, packages, samples). May need to bend, reach, walk, or stoop occasionally. Prolonged periods sitting and/or standing at a desk and working on a computer.

Travel Requirements: Travel between local Cambria locations

Cambria's starting salary range for this position is $ 90,000 - $115,900. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
