As a Security Officer - Cruise Terminal Patrol in BAYONNE, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cruise Ops, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a cruise operations location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing an outstanding level of customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment, engaging with visitors and staff, and embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the cruise port location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor the premises for any security-related concerns and report findings according to established protocols.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and directing visitors as needed.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, guests, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Support emergency response efforts as directed by site-specific protocols and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
