Premier Auto and Truck Parts, Inc. is seeking to hire a Route Delivery Driver in Westland, MI.

Position Summary: The Route Delivery Driver is responsible for making used auto part wholesale deliveries in a safe and timely manner by following the company's route and schedule. As a growing company we are looking for a new delivery driver to add to our team. Our drivers are the face of our company, so we expect them to be professional while delivering used auto parts. All drivers are required to carry a Chauffer's License as well as have a DOT medical card. We are willing to cover the cost to obtain these items with proper receipts. Must be able to lift 75lbs as some of the parts are heavy and must be safely removed from the trucks upon delivery.

Essential Duties:
·Drive straight and level on your route.
·Stop at every customer location on your route to make direct delivery.
·Unload the vehicle and load the vehicle and or product as required.
·Check vehicle oil, gas, tire, etc. and report any maintenance needs to the manager.
·Follows all safety procedures and laws as required.
·Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
·Provides excellent customer service.
·Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:
·Must be at least 21 years of age.
·Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
·Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
·Must be able to bend, lift & carry up to 20 pounds on a routine basis and up to 75 pounds on an expedited basis.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $19.00 per hour
