Housekeeper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and order in our facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure that residents rooms, common areas, and other spaces meet high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation. This role is essential in providing a welcoming environment. Prior experience in cleaning or hospitality is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The position offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting with a focus on quality service and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residents rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining areas
• Handle floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning as needed
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure availability for residents and staff
• Follow established safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for all occupants
• Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties to management
• Adhere to facility policies regarding confidentiality and residents privacy
• Use janitorial equipment efficiently and safely to perform industrial cleaning tasks when required

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments is advantageous
• Familiarity with housekeeping standards or janitorial procedures is a plus
• Ability to perform cleaning tasks with efficiency and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties within scheduled shifts
• Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and walking throughout shifts
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting maintenance issues

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
