Private Caregiver

Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and experienced Private Duty Caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate is patient, dependable, and committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals who need assistance with daily living activities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide mobility assistance and safe transfers
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping related to client care (laundry, tidying client areas)
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with medication reminders (non-medical)
• Monitor client condition and report changes to the care coordinator or supervisor
• Maintain accurate care logs and documentation, including EVV when required
• Follow all care plans, safety guidelines, and agency policies

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a caregiver, CNA, HHA, or PCA preferred
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Valid ID and authorization to work in the U.S.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift, reposition, and assist clients safely

Preferred Skills

• Experience with elder care, dementia/Alzheimer's care, or disability support
• Familiarity with EVV systems
• Strong time management and professionalism

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
