Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous individual to join our team as a Facilities Cleaner. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our arcade & bar ensuring a safe and inviting environment for our guests and staff. This position is vital to the overall success and reputation of our establishment.

The Cleaner is responsible for cleaning, stocking, and supplying designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, etc.). It is this person who will also perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects. May have additional cleaning duties specific to this location.

Cidercade will be hiring for part-time positions at 10-30 hrs per week.

Shift ranges will be a 7am-3pm and/or 5pm-1am.

Background checks will be required for any positions required to be on-site after regular business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and wiping down surfaces to ensure all areas of the restaurant are clean and free from debris and spills.
  • Restroom Maintenance: Ensure that restrooms are kept clean, stocked with necessary supplies, and sanitized to meet health and safety standards.
  • Trash Disposal: Collect and dispose of trash from all areas of the restaurant, following proper waste disposal procedures.
  • Window and Glass Cleaning: Clean and glass surfaces to maintain transparency and appearance.
  • Stocking and Replenishment: Keep cleaning and sanitation supplies well-stocked and report any inventory shortages to the management.
  • Compliance: Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines and comply with restaurant policies and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Special Projects: Assist in special cleaning projects and deep-cleaning tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in cleaning and maintenance preferred but not required.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
  • Confident time management skills and task prioritization.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Knowledge of cleaning tools and equipment including using a power washer.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products and their appropriate usage.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety standards.

Working Conditions:

  • This role may require working during non-business hours, such as early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment, with appropriate safety measures and training provided.
  • Will be required to stoop, bend, reach, and climb ladders.
  • Role will be required to stand or walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
