About The Role.
What you'll be doing.
The
Industrial Mechanic
is responsible for the care, maintenance and continued operability of the facility and all associated equipment in accordance with quality specifications, federal guidelines and company policies.

The ideal candidate for this role will have field experience working in a mechanical capacity, preferably in a manufacturing and/or food manufacturing role. It is imperative that candidates must also be coachable and willing to learn new skills. A strong candidate for this role will also be able to work successfully with various moving mechanical parts, food fumes, airborne particles, extreme cold, extreme heat, and loud noise levels.
This role works PM Shift (6PM-6AM) on a 2-2-3 schedule.
What You'll Need To Be Successful.

• High school diploma or equivalent, 2-year technical college/associate's degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years working in a mechanical capacity required, experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of food processing equipment strongly preferred
• Electrical and mechanical knowledge, PLC programming experience and robotics preferred
• Experience working with variable speed drives, servo controls, process controllers preferred
• Basic metal working, tig welding, metal fabrication skills preferred
• Experience with lath, mill, sheer, brake, and iron worker a plus
• Ability to work independently and with others
• Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate in basic English and interact with all levels of the organization
• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Ability to analyze data and draw logical conclusions with minimal guidance
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

Compensation Package:
Starting at $28.28
USD hourly + bonus eligibility + hourly pay differential for applicable shifts
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.
