Join our dedicated maintenance team at Nature Pure, a family-owned and operated organic egg farm. We're seeking a Feedmill Truck Driver with appropriate commercial driving credentials and experience.

The truck driver must exercise safe driving practices to ensure their safety and the safety of the general public. The driver is responsible for loading and unloading the truck according to the established standard operating procedures to prevent cross-contamination of feed products. The truck driver must follow the directions of the supervisor and always maintain accurate paperwork. In case of an accident, the truck driver must immediately contact the supervisor. The driver is responsible for compliance with Department of Transportation safety rules and regulations, all company policies, local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations. Hours worked per week is 20-30 hours. Monday through Friday and Saturdays as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Specific job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Deliver feed from the feed mill to the poultry house feed bins.
• Responsible for inspection of equipment before loading.
• Responsible for unloading the feed/truck load at the correct destination and correct bins/warehouse.
• Complete the required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Follow biosecurity rules and BSE rules.
• Report truck and equipment maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Complete written feed delivery reports.
• Perform routine housekeeping in all areas of the feed mill.
• Monitor micro bin inventory levels periodically.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required.

• Class A CDL
• Minimum two years driving experience required
• High school degree or equivalent
• Ability to lift 60 pounds, climb ladders and operate a pallet jack with 2,000 pounds of material
• Must meet all DOT requirements and comply with DOT rules and regulations

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. This position is physically located in central Ohio and no relocation is offered.
