Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of beverage preparation, and experience working in fast-paced environments such as fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. This role involves mixing drinks, serving customers, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Candidates should be comfortable handling food and beverages responsibly while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Previous experience with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred, along with excellent time management skills to efficiently serve guests during busy hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately according to recipes and customer preferences
• Greet guests promptly and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit
• Manage cash handling, POS transactions, and billing using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
• Monitor guest behavior to ensure safety and responsible alcohol service
• Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service or catering events when required
• Uphold the establishment's standards for hospitality, presentation, and professionalism at all times

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
• Strong knowledge of beverage preparation, including brewing techniques and cocktail mixing
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Effective time management to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and calculating bills accurately
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work nights, weekends, or special events as needed in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in serving alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal requirements
