Hair Salon Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Salon Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support our stylists and enhance the overall customer experience in our salon. As a Salon Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, assisting with various salon tasks, and ensuring that clients receive exceptional service.

Duties

• Greet clients warmly upon arrival and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit.
• Assist stylists with hair styling tasks, including washing, drying, and preparing clients for services.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the salon by sanitizing tools and workstations regularly.
• Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and answering phone calls.
• Promote retail products to clients through effective upselling techniques.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth salon operations.
• Handle inventory management by restocking products as needed and keeping track of supplies.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Experience in front desk operations or retail sales is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of hair styling techniques is a plus.
• Ability to sanitize tools and maintain hygiene standards in the salon environment.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
• A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
