Academic Tutor

We're Hiring a One-on-One Tutor (Remote) | Zia Academy

Zia Academy is looking for a dedicated one-on-one tutor to work individually with students based on their specific academic needs. Subjects may vary depending on the student.

This is a remote, part-time position.

Responsibilities
:

• Provide one-on-one online tutoring sessions

• Support students in subjects based on their needs (e.g., math, reading, writing, or other academic areas)

• Adapt and structure provided lessons to each student's learning style

• Use Google Meet and shared Google Docs during sessions

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Fluent in English

• Prior tutoring or teaching experience (preferred)

• Comfortable using Google Meet, Google Docs, and Google Drive

• Reliable laptop, webcam, headset, and stable internet

• Quiet environment for teaching

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress)

• Experience providing one-on-one tutoring

Compensation
:

$15–$17 per 45-minute one-on-one session (~$20–$23/hour), based on experience.
