Snow Plow Operator

Overview
We're hiring experienced loader & snow plow operators for commercial snow removal in the Capital Region. Starting at $45-50 per hour with an additional $10 per hour bonus at the end of the season for those who perform every storm

Duties

• Operate loaders and snow plows to clear snow from roads, driveways, parking lots, and walkways
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functioning
• Maintain safety standards by recognizing potential hazards and adhering to safety protocols during snow removal operations
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of assigned tasks

Requirements

• Proven experience operating snow plows or similar heavy machinery in winter conditions
• Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance
• Ability to work in cold weather conditions for extended periods during snow events
• Strong attention to safety procedures and ability to recognize potential hazards on site
• Physical ability to lift heavy loads, operate machinery for long durations, and perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required
