FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am- until work is done

Job Summary: The Warehouse Lumper is responsible for safely loading, unloading, and breaking down inbound and outbound freight. The lumper supports smooth warehouse operations by assisting with palletizing, staging, and general labor tasks as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Unload inbound trucks, containers, and trailers using pallet jacks, hand trucks, or by hand.
  • Load outbound trucks according to load sheets and supervisor instructions.
  • Break down pallets and reorganize freight as needed.
  • Separate, sort, and stage products according to warehouse procedures.
  • Assist drivers with securing loads when necessary.
  • Palletize and wrap products for storage or shipment.
  • Move materials within the warehouse using manual or electric pallet jacks.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
  • Report damaged, missing, or incorrect product to the supervisor immediately.
  • Verify counts during loading/unloading to ensure accuracy.
  • Follow instructions on manifests, invoices, or load sheets.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of warehouse receiving experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy items, work on your feet for extended periods, and meet physical demands of the job.
