Orthodontic Assistant

Hello We are a private orthodontic practice seeking a Part Time Orthodontic assistant.

We are located in The Woodlands Tx. We offer great treatment, great customer service to our amazing patients. Our doctor cares about each of his team members and treats them like his own family.

As our clinic grows we need more help, and we're looking for people who excel in a fast-paced environment and are willing to grow with us, and assist the orthodontist in providing quality dental care to our patients.

Qualifications:
Must have 1 year orthodontic assistant experience
Must have RDA license
Adherence to all safety and infection control rules is required

Responsibilities:

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Assist orthodontist with placing/removing arch-wires, placement/ removal of braces, 3D scans, Clear aligner procedures, taking quality pictures for records
• Take impression for patient, and make retainers for patient
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical / dental records
• Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality
• Perform basic administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments if needed
• Professionalism and good communication skills are important as you will work closely with the orthodontist, patients, and other staff members
• Other duties include cleaning the lab and operatories, sweeping/mopping as needed; cleaning common areas and removing the trash of the day; providing oral hygiene and home care instructions to patients

Working Hours:
Our Office open Tuesday to Friday 8 to 6 pm and two Saturday morning a month from 8 to 1 PM. Please let us know which day you are be able to come in.
