Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee the daily functions of our quick serve concept. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food service management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, controlling inventory, and maintaining operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment. The Restaurant Operations Manager will play a key role in driving the success of our casual dining establishment while fostering a positive team culture.

Duties

  • Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Manage daily restaurant operations including shift management, ensuring smooth service flow during peak hours.
  • Handle cash management, POS transactions, and accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Control inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor food costs to optimize profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations across all areas of the restaurant.
  • Implement staff training programs focused on food handling, customer service, and operational procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas to uphold hygiene standards.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and professional development.

Skills

  • Proven management experience within quick service restaurants or casual dining environments.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience in staff training, supervision, and team management.
  • Ability to oversee inventory control, food production, and cost management effectively.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence.
  • Experience in shift management within quick serve restaurants or hospitality settings.
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software and budgeting tools.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interview candidates and develop staff through training & development initiatives.
  • Knowledge of food industry trends, opportunity to lead a vibrant team in a fast-paced environment while delivering outstanding dining experiences. The successful candidate will be committed to operational excellence and continuous improvement within the restaurant industry's best practices.

Pay: $70, $80,000.00 per year
