Barista

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating an exceptional coffee experience for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages while ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced café environment. Your role will involve not only crafting delicious drinks but also providing outstanding customer service and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Duties

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso, and other beverages according to standard recipes.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
• Keep the café area clean and organized, including equipment maintenance and cleanliness of workstations.
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing recommendations and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Utilize POS systems, including Aloha POS, for order processing and inventory management.

Skills

• Experience with cash handling and operating cash registers effectively.
• Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods and beverage preparation techniques.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Familiarity with café operations and experience using POS systems is preferred but not required.

Pay: $ $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
