Über

The HR Generalist supports daily HR operations and assists in key functional areas including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HRIS maintenance, benefits support, and compliance. This role partners with employees and managers to maintain a positive workplace environment, ensure consistent application of HR policies, and support HR initiatives across the company.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Assist with job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, and hiring documentation
  • Support new-hire onboarding activities and ensure proper completion of required paperwork
  • Employee Relations
  • Provide first-line HR support by addressing employee questions, concerns, and policy inquiries
  • Assist with conflict resolution, coaching, and documentation as needed
  • Payroll & HRIS Support
  • Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS system
  • Support payroll staff by preparing needed information and ensuring timely processing
  • Performance Management
  • Assist in coordinating the performance review cycle and maintaining related documentation
  • Support managers with basic performance management guidance
  • Employee Engagement & Culture
  • Help execute employee engagement initiatives, events, and recognition programs
  • Contribute to fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture
  • General HR Support & Projects
  • Assist in benefits administration during open enrollment and throughout the year
  • Participate in HR projects, wellness programs, and other initiatives as assigned

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist HR Manager

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field years of HR experience preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Working knowledge of basic HR functions and employment laws
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Solid organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities
  • Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred
