Server

The Server enables our Guests to enjoy their Mexican Cuisine at Nueva Cantina in a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. Servers act with professionalism and a warm demeanor to ensure the Guest feels relaxed and well-cared for from the moment they arrive until their dining experience is complete. They connect with guests through small conversations and guide them through our drink and food menu.

They are essential to our team in providing a seamless experience by handling orders, delivering food, and facilitating communication between the kitchen and guests.

As a Server at Nueva Cantina, you will:

• Ensure that every guest has an inviting experience through conversation
• Identify appropriate specials to offer, if guests are celebrating an event, and provide insight on menu items
• Adhere to all sanitation, safety, and alcohol service protocols
• Consistently maintain a friendly, relaxed, and courteous demeanor to ensure guest satisfaction
• Accurately transmit orders to the bar and kitchen, providing knowledgeable recommendations when needed
• Keep kitchen staff informed of any changes or updates to guests' orders
• Serve orders by promptly delivering food and beverages, ensuring all accompaniments and condiments are provided
• Issue bills and process payments, and provide correct change
• Assist other servers, bussers, or runners when necessary to maintain smooth service

Physical Requirements
This is a physically demanding position. You must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods.
