Our growing distribution center in Austin, Texas, is looking for dedicated Distribution Center Associates to join our team. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a vital logistics operation, contributing to the successful storage, processing, and shipment of goods. You will handle a range of responsibilities, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for delivery. We emphasize a safe and efficient working environment, and we are looking for individuals who share this commitment. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and works well under pressure, contributing to the overall success of our logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming merchandise accurately.
- Pick and pack customer orders with speed and precision.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring correct labeling and packaging.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including aisles and storage areas.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and reconciliation processes.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily distribution goals.
- Contribute to process improvements within the logistics operation.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center is a plus.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed.
- Commitment to safety and a positive work ethic in the logistics sector.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
