Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare all outgoing shipments efficiently and accurately.
- Generate and affix appropriate shipping labels and documentation.
- Schedule and coordinate pick-ups with various shipping carriers.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all shipments processed.
- Conduct final quality checks on outgoing packages before dispatch.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Operate shipping equipment and systems effectively.
- Adhere to all workplace safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory management and related tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly shipping department to support optimal logistics flow.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a shipping or logistics role is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency with shipping software and general computer applications.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Capacity to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 30 lbs.
- Understanding of shipping processes and logistics operations.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to procedures.
