Join our team in Austin, Texas as a Material Handler! We are seeking a skilled and dependable individual to manage the flow of materials within our warehouse. This role is essential for our logistics operations, ensuring that raw materials and finished goods are moved, stored, and tracked accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for operating various types of material handling equipment and maintaining an organized workspace. Safety is our top priority, and all employees must strictly adhere to safety protocols and wear the appropriate PPE at all times. This position involves substantial physical activity, including consistent Lifting, pushing, and pulling of heavy items. Candidates must be comfortable with Lifting up to 75 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from production or storage areas.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials.
- Assist with inventory control and record-keeping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with Safety standards.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on equipment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Support logistics team with other material handling tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting (up to 75 pounds) and other physical tasks.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required.
