We are looking for enthusiastic Order Pickers to join our logistics team in Washington, D.C. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your efficiency and precision are key to our operations, ensuring that orders are picked correctly and on time. This is a hands-on position that requires focus, speed, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse inventory using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked items for the packing and shipping process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of logistics and warehouse operations.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Must wear designated PPE.
