Job Summary:
Our San Francisco, California facility is looking for a dedicated Inventory Control Specialist to manage and optimize our warehouse inventory. This role is critical for ensuring product availability, minimizing losses, and supporting our overall Logistics efficiency. You will be responsible for accurate record-keeping, conducting thorough inventory counts, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and implementing robust control measures. A strong focus on Safety and adherence to procedures is essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventories, meticulously documenting findings.
  • Investigate discrepancies between system data and physical stock, identifying causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Develop and enforce inventory control policies and procedures to maintain high levels of accuracy.
  • Oversee the proper receiving, labeling, and put-away of all incoming inventory.
  • Monitor inventory levels, identify slow-moving or obsolete stock, and report findings.
  • Collaborate with shipping, receiving, and other Logistics teams to ensure smooth product flow.
  • Operate warehouse equipment as needed, adhering to all Safety guidelines and best practices.
  • Follow strict Lifting protocols to ensure the safe handling of all inventory items.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Utilize our Warehouse Management System (WMS) effectively for all inventory transactions.
  • Always wear appropriate PPE.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Significant experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Deep understanding of inventory management techniques and WMS.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in inventory software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced Logistics setting.
  • Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Commitment to workplace Safety regulations and practices.
