We are looking for a dedicated Picker/Packer to join our thriving warehouse team in Huntsville, Alabama. This role is central to our logistics and fulfillment operations, requiring individuals who are detail-oriented and committed to accuracy. You will be responsible for accurately picking products from our inventory and preparing them for shipment, ensuring that our customers receive their orders complete and in perfect condition. Your efficiency and precision are key to maintaining our high standards of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets and scanning technology.
- Verify product identification and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment, utilizing appropriate materials.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all guidelines.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment duties as needed.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and frequent lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding of basic logistics and order fulfillment principles.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential for success in this role.
