- Load and unload materials from trucks, containers, and other vehicles.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas using equipment like pallet jacks.
- Organize and stack inventory in a safe, efficient, and orderly manner.
- Verify incoming shipments against relevant documentation.
- Prepare materials for outgoing shipments, ensuring correct labeling and packaging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Strictly adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Report any damaged materials, equipment issues, or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
- Assist with inventory control activities, including cycle counts.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production and shipping schedules.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as required.
- Follow all established logistics and material handling procedures.
- Contribute positively to the team and company culture.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform demanding physical tasks, including lifting up to 75 lbs on a consistent basis.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, as operational needs dictate.
