Join our team in beautiful Portland, Oregon as an Order Picker . This role is vital to our fulfillment process, requiring precision and efficiency in gathering products for customer orders. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse, accurately selecting items using a pick list or scanner, and ensuring they are ready for the next stage of the fulfillment process. A keen eye for detail, physical capability, and a strong dedication to safety are essential. This position offers a great entry point into the world of warehouse logistics and provides an opportunity to contribute to a highly successful operation.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations based on order specifications.
- Utilize scanning equipment and pick lists to track inventory and order fulfillment.
- Verify product accuracy and quantity before moving to the packing station.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to facilitate efficient operations.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety regulations and procedures.
- Wear and use appropriate PPE as mandated for specific tasks.
- Participate in regular inventory checks and cycle counting.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely and effectively.
- Communicate with supervisors and colleagues regarding any issues or discrepancies.
- Meet established productivity goals for order picking.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking role is a plus.
- Must be able to handle the physical demands of the job, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs and prolonged standing and walking.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management is beneficial.
- Strong adherence to safety standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication abilities.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
