We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to support our bustling distribution center. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse using various types of forklifts. This role requires precision, awareness of your surroundings, and a strong commitment to safety procedures. You will be involved in loading and unloading trucks, moving inventory between storage areas, and staging goods for order fulfillment. Experience with different forklift models and attachments is highly desirable. A valid forklift operator certification is required. We are looking for individuals who can operate machinery with confidence and maintain a high level of productivity. Your role is critical in ensuring that our supply chain operates seamlessly. You'll work closely with other warehouse staff and supervisors to coordinate the flow of goods and manage inventory levels effectively. Maintaining the equipment you operate is also an important part of the job, including daily checks and reporting any issues. Strict adherence to all Safety guidelines, including the use of PPE, is non-negotiable. Tasks will involve significant Lifting and maneuvering of products. - Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload trailers and containers.
- Transport goods to and from designated storage areas.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and operating procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of material movement.
- Collaborate with warehouse management to optimize workflow.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Ensure the proper use of PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
