We are looking for enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our growing logistics center in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a Picker/Packer, you will be directly involved in fulfilling customer orders by accurately selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. This role is essential for ensuring customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our warehouse. You will work with a scanning system to accurately identify and retrieve products, and then carefully package them to prevent damage during transit. Attention to detail is paramount to ensure order accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be energetic, organized, and possess a strong commitment to quality and speed. This position requires the ability to work in a dynamic environment, handle frequent Lifting of products, and stand for extended periods. We foster a culture of safety, and all team members are expected to follow rigorous safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a vital part of our logistics chain and develop skills in warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order sheets or scanner data.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Verify product information to ensure order accuracy.
- Use warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Assist with inventory control tasks as required.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Meet performance standards for speed and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting of packages up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
- Previous picking and packing experience is a plus.
