We are seeking a motivated Fulfillment Associate to join our team in Madison, Wisconsin. This role is central to ensuring that customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently, from receipt of inventory to final shipment. You will be responsible for various tasks including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced warehouse setting. A strong adherence to safety standards and the proper use of PPE is required. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to our expanding logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against order documents.
- Accurately stock received items in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists with high accuracy.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Conduct regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area according to company standards.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE .
- Assist with other warehouse duties and team projects as assigned.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the fulfillment process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or distribution center environment is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
- Dedicated to maintaining a high standard of workplace safety .
