Become a Fulfillment Associate in our Portland, Oregon distribution center. This role is key to our success in the e-commerce logistics landscape, ensuring that orders are processed accurately and efficiently for our customers. You will be involved in various stages of order fulfillment, including picking items, packing them with care, and preparing them for shipment. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the physical capability to handle the demands of a warehouse environment, including frequent lifting. Our company is dedicated to maintaining a safe workplace, and all employees are expected to rigorously follow safety protocols and utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming inventory and supplies.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Package products securely and efficiently, ensuring product safety during transit.
- Prepare orders for shipping, including labeling and documentation.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by performing regular checks and reporting discrepancies.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers safely.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily fulfillment targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, fulfillment, or logistics is advantageous.
- Ability to perform lifting tasks up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order handling.
- Proficiency in using RF scanning equipment and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift for extended periods.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all guidelines, including wearing PPE.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Must be comfortable working in a warehouse setting.
