Join our logistics team in Kansas City, Missouri, as an Order Picker! We are looking for efficient and accurate individuals to fulfill customer orders by retrieving items from our warehouse shelves. This role is essential for our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations using pick lists and RF scanners.
- Verify picked items against order requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Deliver picked items to the packing station or designated staging areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all logistics standards.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Meet or exceed daily picking targets for speed and accuracy.
- Perform tasks that involve frequent lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Communicate any inventory discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker, warehouse associate, or in a similar logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Must be able to handle repetitive lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Willingness to follow safety procedures diligently and use required PPE.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
