Join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado, as a Picker/Packer and play a key role in our fulfillment process. You will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders and packing them securely for shipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works efficiently, and understands the importance of order accuracy and timely fulfillment. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. You will be part of a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are paramount. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order sheets or electronic scanners.
- Pack items carefully into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and shipment.
- Label packages for shipment according to company and carrier standards.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and packing machines.
- Conduct quality checks on picked and packed items.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed established picking and packing quotas.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and walk throughout the warehouse.
- Must be able to perform moderate lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of basic warehouse logistics and inventory concepts.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Team player mentality with good communication skills.
