Are you a motivated individual with a knack for accuracy? We are looking for an Order Picker to join our efficient warehouse team in Omaha, Nebraska. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from inventory to fulfill customer orders. Your precision and speed are crucial for maintaining our service levels and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety. You'll be an essential part of our logistics chain, directly impacting order fulfillment. We provide a supportive environment with a strong emphasis on workplace safety, including mandatory PPE usage.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package items appropriately for shipment.
- Stage orders for the shipping department.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of picking areas.
- Operate pallet jacks or other equipment as needed to retrieve items.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to a supervisor.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Follow all guidelines for the correct use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, walk, and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse environments and basic logistics principles.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
