*Overview*
Autism of America is seeking an energetic, dedicated, and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team to help individuals with or without autism. The Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of individuals with speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. The SLP develops and implements individualized treatment plans, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and supports clients in achieving optimal communication and functional outcomes across settings. This role requires a strong understanding of speech therapy techniques, early intervention strategies, and the ability to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
*Responsibilities:*
* Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
* Diagnose communication disorders and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
* Provide direct therapy services using appropriate therapeutic techniques and tools
* Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document outcomes accurately
* Maintain timely and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards
* Educate clients, families, caregivers, and staff on communication strategies and home programs
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, educators, psychologists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists
* Participate in IEP meetings, care planning, or case conferences as required (setting dependent)
* Ensure compliance with state licensure requirements, ASHA standards, and organizational policies
* Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and applicable regulations
*Requirements:*
* Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
* Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
* Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

* Speech therapy: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
* Speech-Language Pathology License (Required)
