Find your future with us.The Boeing Precision Engagement Systems Team is currently looking for a Lead Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer to join the team based in St. Charles, MO.This candidate will be a part of a high-performing engineering team that is immersed in development and high non-recurring projects. The candidate will be accountable to oversee all design and analysis aspects of Common SIL Test Equipment for Precision Engagement System Products. This candidate will need to work closely with executive functional and program leadership, program and product chief engineers, and the product team members to develop the overall technology roadmap for Common SIL Test Equipment for Precision Engagement System Products, provide oversight and guidance to resolve all complex technical issues, and mentor engineers. The candidate must exemplify the Boeing Behaviors in day-to-day operations. Position Responsibilities:Develops and documents moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirementsDesigns hardware, software and interface specificationsTests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirementsAssists in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirementsSolves problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycleResearches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needsExperience as a Lead Technical EngineerRequires 25% travel International and USRequires Valid Passport for International TravelThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science9+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceProficiency with electrical design tools and softwareStrong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and componentsAbility to perform complex electrical analyses and simulationsExperience with industry standards and regulatory requirementsAbility to obtain special access programs (SAP)Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Electrical Engineering or related fieldExperience with specific electrical design software such as MATLAB, SPICE, or similar toolsKnowledge of aerospace industry standards and practicesAbility to mentor and train junior engineersRelocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Shift Work Statement: This position is for 1st shift.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
