Recovery Coordinator (7:00pm - 07:30am)

Pay: $ $13.00 per hour

Work Hours:

Shift is 7pm-7:30am, 3 days a week, working a 12-hour shift. Rotating weekends may be needed.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Core duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned, as necessary.

· Maintain the overall security and operational control of the facility.

· Maintain chronological written records of events that occur during the shift and document any unusual occurrences in the facility logbook.

· Utilize Microsoft Teams to keep all relevant staff updated on incidents that take place throughout the day and/or night.

· Complete statistical reports, daily census reports, incident reports, and additional reports or forms deemed necessary.

· Monitor resident and visitor movements inside and outside the facility.

· Control contraband in the facility through general observation; this may include conducting searches as directed by management.

· Randomly tour the facility and grounds at least hourly to ensure a high level of security; document these rounds in the facility logbook.

· Supervise the completion of daily chores by residents.

· Ensure residents observe all fire and other safety measures.

· Ensure all resident medications are stored in separate, labeled containers in a locked medication cabinet.

· Participate and obtain certification in crisis management and first aid/CPR.

· Immediately notify on-call staff of any emergency situations.

· Comply with and enforce specified regulations and requirements as outlined in Volunteers of America's policies and procedures and Transitional Housing Operations Manual
