Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of property management systems, legal regulations, and customer service principles to ensure the efficient and compliant management of our portfolio. This role requires a proactive approach to tenant relations, property maintenance, and administrative duties, contributing to the overall success and reputation of our property management team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage leasing processes including property showings, tenant screening, and lease signings utilizing systems like Yardi and OneSite
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, LIHTC guidelines, and Section 8 program requirements
  • Oversee property maintenance requests and coordinate repairs through facilities management teams or CMMS software
  • Handle legal administrative tasks related to landlord-tenant law, contracts, and lease agreements
  • Conduct regular property inspections to maintain quality standards and facilitate property upkeep
  • Manage tenant relations by addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts through effective conflict management strategies, and maintaining high levels of customer service
  • Maintain accurate data entry, filing, and record keeping for all property-related documents
  • Upsell additional services or amenities to tenants during interactions to enhance occupancy rates
  • Oversee rent collection processes and enforce lease terms in accordance with legal standards
  • Coordinate with leasing agents on property marketing efforts and sales activities
  • Prepare reports on occupancy rates, maintenance issues, and financial performance for senior management

Requirements

  • Proven experience in property management, real estate administration, or related fields with familiarity in office experience and administrative tasks
  • Knowledge of LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing policies, Fair Housing regulations, landlord-tenant law, and contracts law
  • Proficiency with property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, and CMMS systems
  • Strong customer service skills with excellent phone etiquette and relationship management abilities
  • Ability to negotiate lease terms and resolve conflicts effectively
  • Experience in property leasing, facilities management, and general property maintenance coordination
  • Legal administrative experience is preferred along with skills in data entry, filing, and office organization
  • Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanor suitable for client interactions and team collaboration
  • Valid administrative or real estate license (if applicable) is a plus

Pay: $48, $58,289.72 per year
