Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Caregiver Lead to join our dedicated team in providing exceptional support and care to individuals with diverse needs. As a Caregiver Lead, you will play a pivotal role in supervising caregiving staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and fostering a positive, safe environment. Duties
- Act as a backup caregiver during peak times or when additional support is required.
- Responsible for ensuring the continuity of care in the patients' homes utilizing the appropriate resources and office staff.
- Report findings to the Care Giver Supervisor and / or office staff in a timely manner.
- Consistently engages in huddles and interacts with all office staff to ensure that we have the appropriate number of caregivers to meet the clients' needs.

- Demonstrates accountability and ownership of patient care.
- Seeks and identifies opportunities for process improvement.
- Expected to participate in weekend and holiday coverage rotation per business needs.
- Meets or exceeds productivity targets.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
- Perform personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including meal preparation, medication reminders, and transportation.
- Communicate regularly with clients, their families, and team members to ensure their needs are met and concerns are addressed.
- Train and mentor caregivers, providing guidance, support, and constructive feedback to improve their performance
- Conduct visits to ensure the quality of care being provided meets company standards
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all client care and caregiver activities.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Qualification
- Current California Health Care Aid (HCA) Certification
- 6-10 years of caregiver experience
- Knowledge of current standards of patient care for an HCA
- The ability to handle the concerns of clients and caregivers and knowing when to elevate the concerns to the Caregiver Supervisor and / or the office staff.
- The ability to monitor and document care issues or concerns.
- Computer literate
- Ability to make sound, independent judgements, and act professionally under pressure.
- Demonstrates effective documentation and verbal communication skills: factual, accurate, clear, and timely to support delivery of effective patient care and collaborative management.
- Knowledge and understanding of caregiving principles and techniques.
