JOB DESCRIPTION:   Creative Manager

SUMMARY: The Creative Marketing Manager leads content development and creative execution across Guido Companies. This role is responsible for maintaining brand standards and overseeing the development of all marketing collateral, including graphic design, social media content, photography, videography, website visuals, and print materials.

This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing, who sets overall marketing strategy and priorities. This is a highly hands on role requiring expert level background in graphic design with expert proficiency in Adobe InDesign and advanced working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.

The role works closely with the Senior Proposal Writer to support the visual design of proposals and with the Marketing Coordinator to direct and oversee day-to-day creative and production work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  (other duties may be required)

  • Lead creative execution in alignment with marketing strategy in collaboration with the Director of Marketing.
  • Maintain, apply, and enforce brand standards across all Guido Companies materials.
  • Ensure visual consistency across all marketing channels and platforms.
  • Own and maintain creative guidelines, templates, and standards.
  • Lead design and layout of marketing collateral, including proposals, brochures, presentations, ads, mailers, and digital assets.
  • Develop creative content for social media, website updates, campaigns, and promotions.
  • Produce and review production ready files for print and digital use.
  • Establish and maintain design templates and layout standards.
  • Review and approve creative work produced internally or by outside vendors.
  • Work in conjunction with the Senior Proposal Writer to support the visual design of proposals and presentations.
  • Ensure proposal layouts are clear, professional, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Develop and approve social media content, creative themes, and visual standards.
  • Ensure all digital content aligns with brand standards and messaging. 
  • Collaborate on website updates and ongoing visual improvements.
  • Lead creative direction for photography and video efforts.
  • Develop shot lists, creative concepts, and visual standards.
  • Review and select final photo and video assets for use across marketing channels.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Coordinator to assign, prioritize, and review creative and production tasks.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to support quality, consistency, and growth.
  • Coordinate with outside designers, photographers, videographers, printers, and other vendors.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position oversees the Marketing Coordinator.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field is required, along with 5+ years of professional graphic design experience. Candidates should have experience leading brand standards and creative execution across both print and digital platforms. Experience in construction, professional services, or similar industries is a plus.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:  

  • Expert level proficiency in Adobe InDesign required
  • Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to balance creative leadership with hands on execution
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Clear communicator who can give and receive creative feedback

LANGUAGE SKILLS:  Bilingual in Spanish and English is not a requirement, but is preferred
