First Shift Warehouse Worker

Our well-respected, family-owned company is looking for a first shift warehouse worker. This position will pick and build orders, receive and store beer, load trucks, maintain a clean and organized warehouse, building, and grounds. This is a production-oriented, and labor-intensive job with a goal of increasing warehouse efficiency and accuracy.

• This fast-paced, physically demanding position requires the ability to work independently, yet function as a team.
• Advancement in the company is possible if expectations are consistently exceeded.
• Must be at least 18 years old, have a high school degree or equivalent, and the ability to successfully complete a drug screening and a background check.

Responsibilities:

• Pick and build orders/loads for deliveries
• Receive and process beverage deliveries
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Report any discrepancies
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, including holidays

Must be available to start work at 7:00 AM

Job Requirements:

• Excellent work ethic
• Willingness to start in an entry-level position
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, labor-intensive, production-oriented environment
• Proven working experience pulling and packing orders in a warehouse environment is ideal
• The ability to work independently and efficiently while maintaining a positive, team-player attitude
• Forklift experience and certification is a plus
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Willingness and ability to work outside maintaining our grounds, empty trash and maintain a neat, clean building, and work in a multi-temperature warehouse environment
• Willingness to work before, during, and after holidays
• Must be able to successfully complete a drug screening and background check
• Must be at least 18 years old
