Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. This position involves working closely with patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacy staff to deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical services in a hospital or community pharmacy setting.

Duties

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently while adhering to all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Provide patient counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions.
• Conduct patient assessments to ensure appropriate medication therapy management.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement medical management plans.
• Administer immunizations as required, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
• Maintain accurate inventory management of pharmaceuticals, including ordering and restocking medications.
• Stay informed about new medications, treatments, and best practices in pharmacy care.
• Provide education on health conditions and medication therapies to patients and caregivers.
• Participate in pediatric care initiatives, ensuring safe medication practices for children.

Experience
Candidates should have a current active Delaware Pharmacist License.
