Job Title: Solutions Architect (Enterprise Architecture Team)

About the Role

We are seeking a Solutions Architect to support our Enterprise Architecture efforts. You'll work alongside project leadership to coordinate and manage solution delivery, ensure architectural consistency, and translate business requirements into scalable technical designs. You'll be an integral bridge between IT and business stakeholders, helping to guide projects from conception through implementation in alignment with strategic goals.

You will report to the Director of Enterprise Architecture and contribute to standardizing practices, documentation, and solution governance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Task Coordination

  • Maintain and update project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource allocations
  • Track progress and ensure deliverables are met on schedule
  • Prepare regular status reports, highlight risks or roadblocks, and propose mitigation plans
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, reviews, and stakeholder communications
  • Assist in resource scheduling (personnel, tools, etc.)
  • Identify and document issues, escalate when necessary, and drive resolution

Requirements Gathering & Process Analysis

  • Engage with stakeholders across functions to capture, validate, and prioritize business requirements
  • Analyze existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements
  • Produce business requirement documents, use cases, flow diagrams, and relevant artifacts
  • Collaborate with the EA team to maintain architectural documentation, standards, and best practices

Solution Validation & Quality Assurance

  • Participate in solution reviews to ensure alignment of designs with business needs and architectural principles
  • Support user acceptance testing to confirm the final delivery meets expectations
  • Monitor emerging technology trends and architectural patterns for continuous improvement

Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Strategy

  • Work closely with functional teams to align enterprise data strategy and roadmap with organizational objectives
  • Propose and lead process improvement initiatives
  • Assist with internal communications related to system upgrades, process changes, and enhancements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across business units

Operational & Compliance Duties

  • Report on status regularly and ad hoc
  • Submit time and expense records accurately and timely
  • Comply with corporate policies, mandatory trainings, and audit requirements
  • Fulfill additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently
  • Skilled in MS Office / O365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, etc.)
  • Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies
  • Customer-centric approach and ability to operate in dynamic and sometimes high-pressure environments

Background & Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in project support, business analysis, or related roles
  • Prior experience within IT or enterprise architecture contexts is preferred
  • Solid understanding of enterprise architecture principles and practices
  • Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. (U.S. citizen or legal resident)

Other

  • Valid U.S. driver's license (for occasional travel / onsite visits)
  • Willingness to travel and flexibility to assist with off‑hours support as needed
  • Ability to work effectively remotely, when necessary, with appropriate tools and environment
